I know the fare class. Full fare J/F. I also have DL reference number. The problem is they can't see the fare basis, and they don't know how many miles I would get for these legs.
Initially I was going to credit everything to AS, but I need some miles in DL, so I was thinking maybe DL would be a good option.
Ironically, if the goal is DL miles, it's dramatically better to not fly DL (assuming again that this was the sale)
DL flight number: Miles based on ticket price. Super cheap price means few miles
AM flight number: Miles based on distance. Very long distance means many miles
Edit. If your parents are flying, it makes no difference. You get zero miles either way
