Thanks for the responses. I haven't spent 11k since closing so that couldn't be it. The only other thing I can think of is that transfers to my amex serve aren't counting. I've looked on these boards to make sure that counts towards minimum spend and thought that it did, but again maybe I read it wrong.

I can appreciate why having two reserves may not be worth it, but I needed the mqms last year to reach gold which I did. Now by hitting the spend on both cards I'll hit platinum this year. I really want to hit it since it looks like I'll have a heavy flying year next year.
