I did not take the Sbahn to the airport because I was late, although I understand its easy. There is also a Lufthansa shuttle bus (Greyhound style) for about $7 that leaves from teh trainstation ironically). A taxi is expensive--perhaps $80.

My original post was describing taking the subway from the train station to the Marienplatz--really the oldtown rather than a business district.
