Take the train to Munich. I'd recommend the Augistiner restaurant/biergarten. It's very old and we had great Weinerschnitzel.

When you exit the train, go out through the left door. The restaurant's walking distance on Landsberger Strasse at Holzapfelstrasse.

When you're walking you'll think you're not in the right place. The restaurant is in the midst of the business district. But once you get there (it's on the right side of the road) you'll step into a different world.
