I'm not so much worried about paying for this as I am about the being billed for something that I have no idea of, no documentation of, and (when I tried to contact them today) complete refusal on Avis part to provide any proof or evidence that I caused any damage to the rental vehicle, or even any indication on what the damage was. They wouldn't mention one thing about it, other than my only recourse was to contact the billing company. The customer representative told me that there was no one in Avis that I could talk to. No one? Does anybody really buy that?

The claim even clearly states that the car was in my possession 4 days after I returned it!

I sent an email to Avis asking them to contact me after I tried to call. No response yet. I called the billing company. No one answered and no one returned my call from the message that I left.

Sheesh! How can Avis seriously think that this is any way to treat a customer.
