Reading your story and adding it to my own experience with the "new Delta" just re affirms my dislike of Delta airlines. I do not say this without experience with Richard Andersens Airline. I have One million Flight miles with NWA/Delta.
During that time my miles have been devaluated. My million mile Status diminished, flights cancelled, seat reservations lost, been denied boarding had been re routed, etc etc. I am not new to air travel I have 4 million miles over various airlines. But Delta, more than any other carrier, always seems to do something to screw up our travel plans. We flew with Delta during the lean days when they pleaded for our business and now, well

Last year after an equipment change we lost our seats in first class, (which were full fare first class tickets) after an equipment change. A fellow traveler in line with us made a statement which at the time made me laugh out loud , but over time verifies the statement and every story I hear about Delta: " What can you expect from and airline that is run by a Dick!"
