Arriving "hand luggage only" on AA into Honolulu, is 1h20 sufficient time to make a Hawaiian flight to Kona? The choice is either 1h20 or 2h38. Separate tickets, so my risk, though I hear the standby option if you miss your flight due to a late inbound is pretty cheap.

Where are you arriving from and what season is it? I gave myself 2 hours because I bas flying in from Newark and the flight is sometime delayed or late, so I took the later flight.
