Thinking about a trip next month to Santiago. From the reviews above, seems like the recommendations are in favor of the Ritz. I'm not a major Ritz fan and it is $100 more than a suite at the Renn or Marriott.

Any recommendations between the Renn or Marriott? Also, is there a way to make a reservation in local currency? The Hyatt prices in CLP and a suite there is cheaper than the RC, Renn, or Marriott. And ... I'm assuming I shouldn't expect anything from being a PP at the Ritz.
