missydarlin, I love that Captain Kirk story!

Flew a short while ago on a Horizon Air flight (basically AS) and the FA sang all the instructions and announcements through the whole flight pretty much! To the tune of things like Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, etc. She must have sang at least 4 or 5 songs, and said she had a repertoire of a dozen or more. I was sure that if I asked her about anything at all, she would have a little song to reply with! And I think we could have called out suggestions for the landing info tunes... and she would have been able to oblige!

Now I'm just waiting for a poet or dramatist who could do an announcement based on Robert Frost (hey, AS, whaddya think?), Shakespeare (maybe too MUCH tragedy there though!) or maybe some opera (and some of the FA uniforms almost look like they are in costume already!) I'm starting to think there are a lot of frustrated performers under those regulation outfits!
