From what I understand, getting forced out of Business Class is exceedingly rare, and the case you read about is the only time I've ever heard about it happening. The key thing here (IMO) is that you are travelling with your daughter in the same seat, so I don't see any issues with this at all, and no real difference from economy except to yourself (i.e. more comfortable). The concern, for me personally with my own children, is only when you put your small child in their own seat. In a pod they can't reach Mom/Dad for help/comfort and you can't reach them, which could be a problem if the seatbelt sign is on.
