I still have my button that I attached to my backpack or laptop bag. It really showed how deep the employees and passengers cares about Delta, even during the darker times of bankruptcy. I was at ATL on the day Delta emerged from bankruptcy and it was such a good feeling watching the newly painted 757 coming in to land. My grandmother worked for Chicago and Southern and then Delta after the two airlines merged. To people like Pbarnette Delta is just a blip on the ticker tape. To many of us it was much more than that. It hasn't been easy watching the real spirit of Delta die with the NWA merger and Mr. Anderson's actions.
