Believe it or not... we actually love Little Dix Bay! Yes, the service is hit or miss but the natural setting can't be beat. We had a Junior Suite and really loved it. It was simple and elegant... the bathroom and terrace being the stand outs of the room. The only rooms which have been recently renovated are the Tree House Suites. The Junior Suites I believe were added in the late 00's and the layout reminds me of the rooms at Four Seasons Hualalai, but seem larger because of the outdoor space. We did prefer to dine off property in the evenings but lunch and breakfast were perfectly acceptable at the hotel.

Service in the Caribbean in general is not great with a few exceptions.. we went to Jumby Bay last month and had incredible service.. Little Dix Bay doesn't compare to the service we experience there, but in all other ways we preferred it and plan on returning.
