My aunt flew in First on Air India in the 1960s and always told me how unbelievable it was.

I flew in Y in the 60s and still remember the flight. It was great.

My father flew with them to Cairo in the 40s from Rome as TWA was full. He was also impressed.

I think they went downhill as I understand correctly.
