Hyatt House is an old property right on the outside of Drinkwater, like a Best Western, that Hyatt purchased about a decade ago and refurbished.
The Hyatt Place is a purpose-built big glass sore thumb in the classic Hyatt Place tradition (sarcasm!) that sits right on the inside of Drinkwater, literally a stone's throw away, as AZTimm said.
Both of them are stumbling distant away from the Old Town Scottsdale Touristica and Bar District.
The Hyatt House was remodeled after the Hyatt Place was built, so some of the furnishings may be newer and fresher than the Hyatt Place. Otherwise, both are value for money (or rather, points), but during Spring Training, they will be packed with SF Giants fans here for the games.
