1. It is impossible to say what plane is going to be on the YVR route in October 2016. It has been a mix of planes, and 767 and regional 787 which has been doing most of the lifting has some pretty disappointing seats for that stage length.
2. There is no F on the route, and it is probably not very likely to get a 77W operating it.
3. If you can get seats and have the miles, F is always nicer. Just remember that LAX HND has a reduced dining concept due to the departure time.
4. Only Y is available for redemption domestic. If seats are available at the day of departure you can upgrade to premium class at check-in for a fee. If you are flying Osaka to Tokyo, ITM is usually a better starting point than KIX. More frequent flights and closer to the city.
