I feel very sypathetic for the original poster of this story. I know that IROPS are rare and they affects less than 5% of all of airline pax. For most people the delays are not the problem, but it is how the airline you are flying with handles the situation.

Do you believe that AC should be selling connecting tickets between the US and Canada with a 50 minute connection times at YYZ? I think not. If you have a 50 minute connection and your inbound flight at
YYZ is more than 10 minutes late AC automatically assumes that you won't be able to make you connecting outbound flight.

Do you believe AC should give its pax travelling on Executive, Freedom and Latitute fares extra benefits in IROPS situations? ...
