No go -- as the GPU rules state
The following Lufthansa fare classes are not eligible for Global Premier Upgrades: Z, P, V, W, S, T, N, L, K, R, X, I, O, ID, AD and IP. U.S. government fares are also not eligible for electronic Global Premier Upgrades on Lufthansa-operated flights.
