With the exception of full fare tickets, the only way to purchase tickets on CX/KA flights between HKG and India is to book through G.C. Nanda. Even other TAs in Hong Kong can't book flights between HK and India for their clients and have to go through G.C. Nanda.
This has been reported in a number of threads, including:

I recently booked a CX ticket between HKG and India through G.C. Nanda. To be honest, I was not impressed by their service. They were unresponsive by e-mail and I had to make several follow-up phone calls and e-mails in order to make my booking (even though it was a simple itinerary). But I guess that, with their monopoly on CX/KA HK-India fares, there is not much incentive to provide a good service to customers...
Slightly OT, but in the course of dealing with G.C. Nanda, the price for the ticket which they quoted in their e-mail to me was wrong. Luckily I knew what the base fare price should actually have been for that particular fare class (it was a simple return journey) and queried why their e-mail quoted a price several hundred HK dollars more for the base fare. They responded with the correct base fare price and explained that the wrong price in the previous e-mail was just a 'typo' - no apology was offered. The booking was for several passengers, so had I not spotted the mistake, they would have made a handsome windfall!
With the Competition Ordinance now in force in Hong Kong, can CX/KA still justify having G.C. Nanda as its exclusive 'wholesale agent'/'consolidator' for non full fare tickets on HK-India routes?
