Well, out of the blue, my missing bag was delivered this evening. Had a luggage tag with our address on it besides the original airline tag. No reason whatsoever for it to have been lost.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Iberia must have known 2 days ago that they had found it but could not be bothered to call.

Bittersweet, as the bag contained a bunch of clothes given to my 3 year old by his doting Aunt. We just heard she passed away at the weekend from cancer, which she kept a secret
from all but her immediate circle.

Some of you may have known her : Fiona Fields, widow of my late twin Randolph Fields, co-founder and first Chairman of Virgin Atlantic Airways.

I almost feel guilty at this bag's reappearance.
