IB lost my bag ... Any good news?
It has been 2 weeks since Iberia lost one of 8 checked bags between LHR and Johannesburg.
I have called them repeatedly, they have not once contacted me. Absolutely no sign of the missing bag. Receiving the Warsaw convention mandated compensation of several hundred dollars is not going to make me whole; has anyone in a similar predicament managed to receive reasonable compensation in the form of cash or script?
Unfortunately neither my credit card used to purchase the tickets nor my homeowners insurance is going to cover this.
