They might have been but it snowed heavily on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and this morning it was snowing so 174 had to de-ice. On Wednesday morning we spent 20 minutes waiting in the staging area and then another 45 minutes de-icing due to "excessive" ice on the aircraft and wings... according to the pilot.
