The HHonors-Amex Surpass and the HHonors-Amex base cards are the only cards providing the additional 1,000 Points. The Citi-HHonors Visa Reserve card and Citi-HHonors Visa Signature card are not providing the 1,000 Points.
Your wife would receive the 1,000 Point bonus as long as she registers
here and uses her Surpass card on her stay. Using the Reserve card will not trigger an additional bonus.
