AS you have since posted, the lack of ruling is probably a result of the reluctance of airlines to test this. Of course, the lack of a verdict on this particular issue does not lead one to presume that the contract is fair.

I would like to see an airline's justification of repricing an entire ticket when the Consumer Rights Act. 2015 already defines as unfair

A term which has the object or effect of requiring that, where the consumer decides not to
conclude or perform the contract, the consumer must pay the trader a disproportionately
high sum in compensation or for services which have not been supplied.
