I guess I've never paid that close attention... this time they are offering many options. Still, it doesn't make sense that the tax is doubled. The $5.60 are airport taxes, right? I get that there might be a programming issue..but does UA
actually owe the tax twice just because the layover is more than 4 hours? I'm guessing not. Isn't it a UA rule that makes it a layover?
