Tax on Award Ticket Doubles from $5.60 to $11.20 for 4+ Hr Connection. Why?
I was looking at one way award tickets in March from SEA-FLL.. March 2nd in particular, but they're available on several dates with the same result. Whenever the connection time is over 4 hours the tax doubles...doesn't matter what the connection point is.

I have never seen that before. Is it a glitch? I don't see why there would be more tax for a longer layover.
