FWIW, just got back from a day trip - hadn't noticed that I didn't have PreCheck when I printed my boarding passes. Was sent through the Premier line @ LAX which was much shorter than the PreCheck line...

Anyway, I tried to check my MP account profile via smartphone but UA has not enabled that. Finally back in town this evening and got on to a PC - my Known Traveler Number/Pass ID was wiped away from my account as was my passport info. So, I've just re-entered them and the info appears to be sticking.

A friendly suggestion to check so you can PreCheck!
Thank you for refreshing this thread. I was not aware of this thread when I created a new thread earlier in the week. I created the new thread because I could not enter my passport renewal into united.com. I talked with united tech a couple of times about the problem, without success. I also used three different browsers but the problem continues even now.

Why does this problem persist so long? It has been going on for more than one year, according to this thread.

Yesterday I got a very nice message from United Insider. UA Insider saw my new thread and offered to look into my passport problem for me. However, since the problem is not isolated to me, and is apparently wide spread, I declined the offer and instead, requested that the programming error be fixed for everyone. I think the U/A representative was not aware of this thread that shows the problem has lasted at least since last year.

The puzzling part is the fact that I was able to change my passport renewal data on Delta, AA and Koreanair without any problem.

I will keep my fingers crossed hoping the problem will get fixed. Alternatively, I can wait until I am at the airport to have the data entered.
