Post ARCHIVE: "Star Wars" FT icon in upper left corner of forum pages

The FT icon has changed. The new one, in black/orange/white/gray, has a very different design, including the word FLYERTALK in white in all caps. This is set in a "cartoon speech" bubble outlined in orange with a black center that seems to contain some gray stars or perhaps a sunburst graphic.

Frankly I don't like it. It's too prominent and uses colors and lettering that really aren't seen elsewhere on the page. I'm trying to decide whether it resembles Halloween or some space fantasy. Is this supposed to get people to click and be directed from forums to the FT homepage that many of us don't like?
