Reviving this thread to ask a question about avios & TP's on open skies flights. On ba.com, open skies earns the same as ba, especially in economy class. Yet the avios calculator give higher avios and tp's than what is listed on another ba.com page. I just cut/pasted the relevant part of the page.
Paris (ORY) to New York (JFK) on British Airways each-way
Travel class Avios Tier Points
Economy
Economy lowest (Q, O, G) 909 20
Economy low (K, L, M, N, S, V) 1817 35
Economy flexible (Y, B, H) 3634 70
Paris (ORY) to New York (JFK) on OpenSkies each-way
Travel class Avios Tier Points
Economy
Economy lowest (Q, O, G) 3634 35
Economy low (K, L, M, N, S, V) 3634 35
Economy flexible (Y, B, H) 3634 70
Is the calculator correct? May be worth to fly open skies to Paris instead of ba or aa.
