OP was in coach. The buy-on-board "Snack Shop" has vegetarian options. OP is complaining about looks of meal he/she wouldn't eat even if it looked good. Sort of an interesting note to United: "I'm a vegetarian and I don't like the way the hamburger that I wasn't going to eat looked".
