Not much news on initiatives, but a few nuggets on mgmt structure and interim responsibilities...
  • Compton got the customer experience, call center, and food responsibilities of Brett Hart in the interim
  • Mike Bonds, head of HR / labor relations got the interim corporate communication responsibilities
  • Deputy general counsel is acting general counsel
  • Deputy CFO Laderman is acting CFO - but Hart says decision on that role will be made when Oscar returns (we heard that before)

Hart says they attracting 'great' candidates for the empty positions.

And Bethune weighs in to say "the jobs that are being filled temporarily are not mainline, day to day operational jobs" The chief operations officer "has the flying schedule under control."

It also reiterates that Bethune recruited Oscar to the board.
That Gordon Bethune recruited Oscar cannot be anything but a positive for both UA employees and frequent fliers.
