Reverse herringbone configs don't have such a clear difference between desirable and less desirable seats, but in any event window seats make up between 20 and 28 seats in the CX or AA configurations.
It may be slightly lower density but there is actually a higher number of good seats.
Being slightly hearing-deficient, I like the aisle so that I can hear the CC say "Hello, Mr T8191, how nice to see you again ... would you like a refill?". It also provides convenient access to the toilet cubicle, which may be needed with the urgency afflicting the older passenger. The 1-2-1 gives me a window as an added bonus ...
