Your pictures of the Radisson Blu Strand in Stockholm reminded me of my stay there. I was in a very memorable room in the circular turret at one corner at the front. I checked in late in the evening and checked out again early in the morning - I maybe had the room for just 8 hours and I think it is possibly my most expensive hotel room per hour spent in the room - hotels in Stockholm aren't cheap. (I hope that doesn't sound too dodgy!)

. The view from the turret must have beautiful, even if you didn't have much time to enjoy it

. And yes, hotel prices weren't too cheap either, and I can't imagine how expensive it would have been when the kronor/euro was much worth much more than the dollar a few years ago.
