Yep. As a non-status infrequent flyer, to me it looks like this is the main implication of the change. I just hope the all or nothing bit remains the only downside (for me) and they don't also use it to charge more.
I think the whole change is a bigger loss for status pax than for occasional Delta customers like me. So far at least.
