You just described CX! No pampering (by Far Eastern airline standards), below average food, good IFE, good hard product. But I personally think the CW seat's cushioning is better (softer) than CX J.
I was trying to describe BA
But I, respectfully, disagree. I find CX stronger in almost all metrics than BA. It is a pleasure to fly with CX, where it is somewhat mundane being on a BA aircraft.
