As it happens, my bag fit fine...for some reason I pictured the bins a lot shorter than they really were.

Now my first (and hopefully last) Rouge flight is over, I am sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out what this brand really is - aside from a colossal joke.

I've never seen such a drab, boring, uncomfortable cabin - the seats had absolutely no support or bolstering of any kind and the color scheme is so incredibly boring. I looked at the Rouge Plus cabin, and this is no business class - the seats were identical to coach, only marginally bigger. There was IFE over Wifi - but no Wifi internet access, and the IFE had a very small selection of content compared to other carriers with similar systems.

I have absolutely no idea what Rouge represents, what the brand image or statement is, or its purpose (aside from permitting some sort of dual pay scale?). Hopefully someone at Air Canada comes to their senses and puts it out of its misery.
