FWIW, one small inconsistency I have observed in the Oscar Munoz "all Smisek engines halt, let's evaluate a sea change" theory is how few of the former Chairman's crew have left the ship. Apart from those snared in the Port Authority scheme and the finance guy who bailed a month before, I don't know of any stalwart Smisek men handing in their resignations. At least in my experience, the bigger the break with the recent past, the more senior management associated with that past find other work.
