If you're on one of the Gatwick A32x places with no front left divider, 1A is a bit risky, and 1C is a complete deathwish!

Cabin crew this weekend warned me to watch my toes when I sat down in 1A, and very strongly suggested that the guy in 1C might want to wait in the galley to avoid injury. Given how many people cut the corner off, it certainly seems a dangerous spot...

Still, the one advantage is you get to have a good chat with the crew during take off and landing, as you're looking right at them!
