I'm thinking of switching to the Infinite Privilege card to get Zone 2 Boarding and giving up my current Amex Gold. I'm looking for a few answers first though:
1) When do they tend to offer the 50k bonus or other promotion? Right now it's 25k so I prefer to wait for a better offer
2) Am I able to get this card without being a client of TD? I prefer not to switch banks.
3) How does the 50% off J for companion work exactly? Do you call in and get the discount over the phone or is it a refund on the cc bill?

1) They've only offered 50k once as far as I know. You can wait out, but there's no guarantee.
2) Yes you can. Like any other card. As long as you meet their criteria, you're eligible.
3) I'm not sure. But I'm not sure it's a great deal either. It's 50% off Air Canada biz fares which are already too expensive. And it's 50% off the flex fares, not discounted biz.
