The wording on my last voucher is a little different:

"Your travel voucher is valid for 1 (one) year from date of issue."

In my case, I had one year to apply the voucher to a future booking, so it would align with your (3).

I'm also curious to see the answer today -- my last voucher was from a couple of years ago.
