I know Aer Lingus has new cabins for the A330 but I'm not sure what routes though maybe a good chance next year. I've not flown it but I've flown LH J and wouldn't mind trying it out.
TK J is fantastic, amazing food and you get to use the lounge at IST which is a treat...it's bigger than most regional airports.
If this is a trip to try out/enjoy new products then don't see the downside.
FWIW you should check out Amsterdam, coffee shops aside I really enjoy it.
Not sure if that means nixing MUC but another fun thing could be taking the Thalys train to Antwerp or even Paris. If you want to fly out of AMS to MUC or Italy I found that KLM had decent one way fares (like $100-$120) compared to LH/LX that wanted like $400.

Not sure the way to add DXB in there but someone else may chime in.
