Once you got the things sorted out on ba.com, did you manage to select seat online?

I have a AY op by BA segment, where all numbers were OK from day one, but ba.com refusese to allow seat selection anyway (error "You need to call us for seat selection"). But I'm in BA dormitory class on B777 so all seats are equally bad anyway
