I visiting the Dachau camp this past September while staying in Munich. On the way there I arrived via train and as many of us were going from the train station to the camp I asked a few fellow Americans if they'd like to share a cab. it was just over 10 euro so when split 3 ways it was rather cheap. On the way back I used the bus to the train. Trains in Germany, in my experience, run rather well on time.
