Sorry if this is a noob question, but I've just status matched from QF Gold to O6*G. When I fly OW, it's usually QF anyway, so I've not run into this scenario, but when I fly *A it's usually NZ or UA.

My question is, if I booked a flight, say with NZ, and had my NZ FF loaded on the PNR, can I also access *G benefits by flashing my O6*G card at check in, lounge etc etc, or do I actually have to have it tied to the PNR?

I'd like to get the benefits of the status, but still accrue points directly to my NZ account.
