Two things that I haven't seen anyone else mention:
First, be sure to visit the Pike Place Market its at 1st and Pike and is one of Seattle's more unique spots.
If you are in to aviation, which I assume you are, take the trip up to Everett to visit the Boeing factory. Call for tour times, they're listed in the phone book.
