A colleague tells me that from the Heathrow Express station to B28 (where AC823 usually flies from) is something like a 3.7km walk. I can quite believe it. There is a shuttle service for pax needing it thats supposed to operate through the tunnel to B but I've never seen where you pick it up upon arrival. I don't need it ordinarily but we'll be arriving as a family in August & my youngest has a physical disability. It's going to be a long walk for her from the gate & we'd ideally like to avoid having to pack a stroller with us for 3 weeks just for Heathrow!
MLL near gate. Less than 5 min walk. Very very long walk from Heathrow Express stop. Effective June 2015 a shuttle service commenced to take you to gate area. Normally never use shuttle or jitney but staff pretty much insisted. It was very far. Walk not an issue for me but time was. Didn't see any similar shuttle service when we exited Heathriw Express. FYI, the jitney was after security. Elusive this shuttle runs every 10 min or so. At least it did in June.
