Yes, it is a bit of a pain, but where I'm at BoA, Chase, Citi, and Amex all pull Experian. By freezing it I can get BoA and Chase to pull other bureaus, but I have to call in to provide a pin for my Citi and Amex applications. It's worth it to spread the inquiries around though.
