I thought there was an actual LHR MLL thread... but I was directed here, so I will post my observations here about the LHR MLL!
For the longest time, they had Glenlivet 12 in the LHR MLL... even last week when I was there.
But today, I was in for a surprise when I asked for a double neat Glenlivet 12... "sorry sir, we no longer have Glenlivet... it is Aberlour 10"...
On the bright side, it's not JW Red.
On the dark side, a younger Scotch... frick.. AC, if you're going to go with a younger Scotch, go to the light peaty side... like a Talisker 10.
Having said that, I ordered a double neat of the Aberlour 10 and it was... marginally acceptable.
