What company's scanning technology is used?

An aside:

I did hear of a lawsuit in Florida (USA) where some woman was suing to have her driver's license photo showing her wearing a veil of some sort. I hope she loses.

I don't mind having to push my hair back so the scanner can take the hairline on forehead and temples (especially the receding hairlines of men) into account.
