If they do choose a new hub, wherever that may be, I wish they would make it an "allowable connection" to allow for routing variety without breaking the fare. For example, if I fly PDX-BWI on UA, I can go through DEN or ORD or IAH while on AS I could go through SEA or LAX but if I go through LAX it's priced as a PDX-LAX fare combined with LAX-BWI even though LAX is the only option with an overnight flight (unlike SEA).
