Beats or whatever their called are cheaper. Although I cant verify how well they work. Im a bose guy myself, wife got them for me as a christmas present one year ^
I've heard beats called $20 headphones with an extra $100 for the brand name. Haven't tried them out myself and maybe I'm not one to judge - I use $12 sony earbuds for day to day walking around and bose QC15s for flying.
